How to Apply

Taber & District Housing Foundation uses word of mouth, newspaper advertising, the internet, and university and college postings to announce job openings.

Application forms are available at both the Clearview Lodge and the TDHF office, or click to download the Application for TDHF Employment. Applicants must fill out an application form, attach a resume and cover letter. The hiring process includes an interview, reference checks, and employees must have a clear criminal record.

When interviews are scheduled, applicants should arrive early and bring at least three work-related references, including at least one reference from their last place of employment.

A team of two staff members will conduct the interview. Three reference checks will be made and a criminal record check will be performed prior to hiring. Reference checks are generally conducted within one week of the interview. If references cannot be contacted, applicants may be asked to provide additional references.

A typical interview takes 30 to 60 minutes and the orientation takes one to three hours.
